Birthday celebration @ Jackass Place...

Me, mui, yun and our birthday boy, ZW reached Causeway Point's at around 7 and found that many restaurants were already crowded with people. (-_-") It's my bad, I was the organizer and I did not take into consideration that it's a Friday and also the starting of a ONE WEEK Devil's holiday! ARGH...

Initially planned to have Seoul Garden, but it was full and we need to wait for at least 20 mins for a table. We gave up and after a round of "Lom Giam Pas" and "Scissors Paper Stone", we came to terms with Jackass Place. eeeewww

I tried Fish & chips at AMK's Jack's Place, it was not as tasty as I expected. I was still hoping that maybe other dish might change my view on this "looks as if high class but food is sucky place".
I was wrong..

The waitress tried to recommend the Lobster and chicken set to me when I placed order for the Chicken w Crayfish set, which is of cos, MORE EXPENSIVE. I told her I won't be able to finish such a big lobster myself, but she said the lobster is the same size as the crayfish! Since I can only finish that small portion, why should I change the crayfish to a lobster and pay more? So I insisted on ordering Chicken w Crayfish. Yucks! Both Crayfish and chicken had the burnt and bitter taste. Totally screwed up the whole dish. Nonetheless I tried to finish it, because it was EXPENSIVE. (>.<) ZW also ordered the same dish as me, he poured lots of chili sauce to cover the burnt taste in order to make it palatable... nice try ZW!

Yun on the other hand ordered chicken which she finished within like erm...15mins? She's too hungry... Mui didn't finish her Fish & chips, she's half full by the time the food was served, I think... Only Mui and Yun ordered set meal, thus the waitress recommended us their special fruit juice! That cost $16 ++ , which cost 18.832 after GST! Yet I can only taste watermelon, regardless of what the waitress mentioned earlier of various fruits present in the juice. Felted cheated...
